My friend Shannon Celia is an amazing artist! Her beautiful paintings of boats, lighthouses and the sea are a lovely blend of colorful coastal palettes. So when she asked me to design her logo I jumped at the opportunity. It was an honor to collaborate on a mark that represents Shannon both as a person and an artist. Drawn to all things nautical we combined a paint brush with an anchor. Then we used her signature to bring in the cross for her love for Christ.
“I’ve learned many things about my personal work process and believing in one’s own unique path, even when the seas get stormy but I’ve had to trust when and how to change course unexpectedly, effectively. Painting what I call, the gritty with the pretty, has shown me that what’s beautiful to some, surely isn’t to others and this has been useful in today’s uncertain climate.”
